Sometimes in life, you have to navigate through rough waters. That doesn’t mean you have to do it alone.
If you have stumbled upon my website, there is a pretty good chance that you are suffering emotionally or that you are looking to change something significant in your life. In many ways life is like a journey, comparable to a sea voyage. There are ups and downs, still waters and tidal waves. You may need support in captaining your ship. Finding the right person to serve as voyage navigator can be challenging. You are looking for a good match, for someone who knows how to both support and challenge, but more importantly someone who can both listen and validate. Therapy means being vulnerable, so you will need someone who is worthy of your trust.
Therapy involves two people making a connection and beginning a voyage, your healing journey. Your search for a navigator may require some shopping, and there are likely dozens if not hundreds of available clinicians in your community and in neighboring communities. I am glad you stopped in and hope to hear from you soon!

Before I learn more about you, it’s important that you learn more about me.
I work with individuals ages 10 and older and with couples in various stages of their relationships. In private practice, I have worked as a generalist with over 1,200 different individuals. My door is often the first door that people enter in seeking help for emotional and psychological issues.
My dreams come true when I watch clients successfully begin their healing journey, which frequently includes involving a professional cast of characters who surpass me in their specialized knowledge.
I was born to care-give, and I came up the hard way. I am the daughter of a father who was permanently disabled when I was just ten years old, and within my family of origin, I have cared for sick family members since that early age. In my family of procreation, the caregiving continues. I have lost many of the people about whom I cared most. I like to think of myself as a resilient survivor type, and I am likely to understand the nature in which you struggle.
Together, we can do this.
My availability is flexible, and I offer telehealth options. Let’s see if we might be a good fit.
Over the years I have had the pleasure of talking to and helping numerous beautiful people. Here are a few of their thoughts:
